01 / Our origin

A coffee with an address.

Our coffee is grown, hand harvested and slowly dried on our family estate using the traditional natural process. Every harvest reflects the character of the land and the quiet dedication of the people who care for it.

Rooted in Rwandan heritage and inspired by the Japanese philosophy of craftsmanship, IKAWA celebrates patience, precision and respect for nature.

Grown on our family estate in Rwanda, IKAWA carries a distinct sense of origin. Its story begins in one place.

Hand harvested

Coffee cherries are carefully selected by hand, with attention to the fruit and its ripeness.

Traditional natural process

After harvesting, the coffee is slowly dried using the natural process, allowing the fruit to shape its expressive character.

Thoughtfully cultivated

Our coffee is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, with care for the soil and respect for the land.
